Description

The top area can support two 120mm or 140mm fans and/or 240mm or 280mm radiators, while the front can support up to a huge 360mm radiator. Additionally, the top of the case is fitted with a magnetic dust filter alongside the bottom, which features an easy to clean sliding dust filter.

There is no vertical mount included in the case, but like Phanteks, Lian Li sells an add-on kit that replaces the horizontal mounts. Only one thing to note is the SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard plate seem like they're a tiny bit to close, guess it depends on your PSU Cables/SSD but means power cables to SSD's are extremely snug - I'm using a Corsair RM750. I’d say it’s just enough to blend together the visual mismatching of components that’s bound to happen in budget builds, but light enough to still reveal the internals in some of their glory. That’s not much warmer than the P400A’s 52 Celsius average, but the Lancool II Mesh pulls ahead a little further at 51 Celsius average. The front could prove useful if you needed the extra airflow, as both the power supply shroud and bottom panel of the chassis are ventilated. You could also mount 120mm or 240mm fans in the top and front, as well as two additional 120’s positioned on top of the ventilated power supply compartment. The I/O ports include the power button, reset button, LED button for lighting mode control, 1 x HD audio and 2 x USB 3.

With two 200MM fans mounted outside of the frame, you still have enough room to front mount a 360 AIO radiator to benefit from the ultimate cooling scenario. Even without the 200mm fans in the front, the LanCool 215 still posted the lowest CPU temperatures of any case I’ve tested, but GPU temps were about middle of the pack. I also changed the aluminum plate to a polycarbonate one and it really brings out the RGB so if you want brighter RBG switching the plate to an FR4/PC will help with that.I am uncertain, but I do have to wonder if the portions of the chassis that block the rear of these fans might be causing turbulence that makes them louder than 800 rpm fans should be. At the top of the case you can mount up to a 280 mm radiator, though you’ll have to be very careful with your motherboard and memory choice to ensure clearance. I’ll start with the elephant in the room; those two huge 200mm ARGB fans out front, covered only by a very free flowing mesh panel (the “OH! Cable management was easy and airflow is fantastic with the fans moving enough air that I did not feel the need to add an extra exhaust fan. The trendy mesh design at the front panel provides filtration for dust coming from outside the chassis.

This fell only slightly down to 44 degrees with the front panel removed entirely, indicating that Lian Li has done a good job of pairing the large intake fans with a front panel that doesn’t restrict them, although the backing chassis does.If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. It’s not nearly as dark as that on the Corsair 4000-series cases – that tint requires RGB to see anything, and even then, you’ll only see the RGB.
