Description

This triggers some seriously strong scent memories of swimming pools in the best and prettiest way. Do you know that smell when you are on vacation and are putting on a clean swimsuit to go to the pool...the swimsuit smells clean and fresh, but a slight trace of pool water and sunscreen always lingers on the fabric? And the smell makes you feel happy and uplifted because you know you are heading out for a great day? Then you grab your freshly laundered beach towel, put on your flip-flops, and walk out to the pool in the hot sun where kids are playing with plastic rings and you are spraying Coppertone sunscreen before diving in the pool and having the best day ever?

Its warm, clean, fresh, slightly citrus with a slight pink pepper bite as a top note. I do not like freesia, typically avoid it at all costs, but in this fragrance it must be well blended so there is just an enjoyable sharp white floral note rather than a heady/headache inducing one.It reminds me of a wealthy woman in a large hat and expensive sunglasses lounging along the azure coast of the Adriatic Sea with a warm breeze carrying the faint fragrance of flowers and citrus. Update winter 2021 - so I'm finding the lemon in the opening more challenging now. It really overshadows the composition. It's not even such a fresh lemon, more like the lemon in artificially flavored lemon drinks. I'll revisit this once more when the weather gets warmer though before I write it off . There is something in here that I do like.

Anything after August 2022 will smell different than the original formula. It’s JUST as strong, same notes, same longevity, same sillage. Not generic to me at all!! Then again most people reviewing this are women who wear nothing but fragrances “marketed” for women. This opened with a bright, clean, fresh burst of lemon, mandarin, and guava for me. The madarin faded fast. Dylan Blue is a recent addition to Versace's range of world-class fragrances. Launched in 2016, Dylan Blue has become a favourite for men preferring a bold and fresh fragrance. Presented in a stylish rectangular bottle embossed with the golden Versace Medusa logo, this fragrance is available in a variety of sizes, allowing people to sample it and decide whether the scent matches their personal style before investing in a larger bottle. Finely Balanced Notes Dylan Turquoise is a fruity-woody fragrance that’s heavy on the citrus and guava and has a touch of florals to add balance. It’s very sexy, fresh, and feminine (to me at least) but I could totally see a man pulling this off due to the heavy woodiness. I think it’s a luxurious summer freshie for a hot woman who’s turning heads as she makes her way around the city. For an EDT, it has impressive sillage and longevity. On release date and today’s first formulation, it’s a masterpiece. I’m one of those guys where some female frags smell natural and pleasant with my skin chemistry. This isn’t too girly, and becomes more unisex after the top notes fade. On me it’s a beast. Try mixing it with Versace Man Eai Fraiche.

Pharmacists cannot dispense the item as a pharmaceutical benefit unless it has been approved by Medicare Australia (indicated by the presence of the approval number). My mama & I thought the best word to describe this scent was "screechy". There is something so synthetic & loud about it (on my skin) that it literally was hurting my nose, head & soul. It’s all consuming & I felt like I was leaving a nuclear cloud of lemon peel wherever I went.

Five minutes later it's still lemony, and the rosy pink pepper and clearwood come through. I'm newer to identifying notes so i looked at fragrantica's description of current leave as "like cat piss" lmaooo. I do kind of get that, though...not in a gross way, just slight ammonia, like a cleaning product but a little earthier. All day long I felt like I needed to wear a "so sorry" sign as I felt I could offend noses all around me. From a male reviewer, This is basically the Pour Femme version of Versace Man Eai Fraiche. They are SO similar in nature. Both are lemon beach scents, both leaning unisex. If anything this is a bit stronger then Man Eai Fraiche. I sometimes joke with my friends and call it the new Versace Man Eai Fraiche EDP. If there was an EDP to that scent, this would be the closest thing. I do smell a slight "Cedevita Lemon" vibe once the initial splash of lemon is gone. If you don't know what that is it's a powder you dilute in water to make it into a drink. They do put vitamins in it, but it's still very sugary. Regardless, main point being - the remnants of the leftover lemon scent smell just like the Lemon Cedevita powder, just way less strong. The fragrance matches the high quality expected from this premium brand. It features fresh watery top notes paired with a splash of bergamot-citrus, which is strongest upon application. The scent slowly sweetens and notes of grapefruit become more apparent. The middle notes are comprised of patchouli and papyrus which sit atop the musk and tonka bean base notes. The perfumer, Alberto Morillas, has designed a complex bouquet of fragrances which interact with each other in an alluring way. The aquatic notes will invite some comparisons to the other popular Versace offering, Versace pour Homme Eau de Toilette . While both fragrances were designed by Morillas, Dylan Blue differs by becoming spicier in the middle notes with hints of wood and fig-leaf. The scent is durable and requires only a few splashes to last the day. More from Versace

I get a blast of the ocean filling my nostrils, and the way it comes out is so delicate but powerful. This is a VERY fun and playful scent. I’m a guy and I get many many compliments on this one, especially when layered with Versace Man Eai Fraiche. Those two must go hand in hand but this can still stand on its own.Opens with a really nice citrus that doesn't sting or smell screechy but may still be too citrusy like a floor cleaner. There's also an aquatic note of some kind so it smells like a floor cleaner used near a pool on its stone or concrete floors. But just when I get used to the guava, the intense patchouli-citrus combo takes the center stage. It's clean, sparkly and also a little sharp. I definitely understand the comparisons to Coco Mademoiselle. This basically smells like Versace attempted to create the tropical poolside summer flanker of CCM that Chanel would never produce. Unfortunately I always find this citrus/patch accord a little too harsh and scratchy, so this isn't for me after all.
