You can also lube these switches if you feel or hear some ratling sound after some months of usage. I also realized after this round, that Zeal probably worked a lot on it, he changed everything, and he had to do many fails and attempts before making it that good. Props to him. The bottom is made of nylon material and is opaque. The top housing is polycarbonate which is good. Zealio V2 switches come in 4 variants. They are rated at "bottom out" force, not actuation! Version 2 of our switches feature a bigger tactile bump when compared to our previous Zealios. Round 8: 67g Zealio spring tweaked for "crisper" bump with more cushion at bottom-out, 78g Zealio spring tweaked to be more similar to 67g variant, with snappier bump compared to previous 78g Zealios

It is worth pointing out, here, that yes, this force curve above does imply that even though the Zealios V1 Redux switches have Zealios V2 leaves, they also do look more like that of the V1 Zealios in terms of their force curve. Again referencing the aforementioned changes to the leaves of the Zealios switches that occurred over R1 to R3 of the sales, it is likely that this comparison was made to one of those later V1 switches rather than the earliest ones, as one would expect slightly more noticeable differences from the true earliest attempts at the Zealios V1 leaves. Additionally worth pointing out is that force curves are not generated purely based on the leaves of a switch, and thus the changes made to V2 stems almost certainly played a role in further differentiating the force curves of these switches rather than purely the changes made to the leaves alone. The tactility event starts right at the top and feels like it ends up right before bottoming out. Basically with this switch i feel like you will always bottomout. The Zealios V2 switches are four variants with 62g, 65g, 67g, and 78g bottom-out force. Zilent V2 Review This is even better of what was promised, it is MORE tactile than HP for sure and the rounded "feel" of the tactility is really similar to Holy panda (rounded and long, imho better and longer than HP). What gives the Tealios its extremely smooth actuation is its stem legs, the stem itself appears to be made out of an outstandingly smooth plastic mould, and it shows in its construction where nowhere on the stem is rough to the touch. The legs are also angled perfectly to give the linear actuation of the stem a good balance between weight on the downpress and upstroke.Anyways, the goal of this review is to give a reasonable view of the Zealio R2 and tell the community if you should or should not take out that second mortgage to get a coin pouch worth of switches. To do this, I do have to disclose some certain biases: However the tactility even if it's huge, it's fast and sharp. Not everyone might like this kind of tactility. These are pretty tactile and beat out switches like Koalas, T1s, Browns, Clears, and others in tactility, but these are far from the most tactile out there.

If I liked tactiles, I’d like them a lot. They’re really strong and interesting tactility-wise and they’re a lot of fun to press and make the typing experience unique for sure. Once lubed the sound is much deeper and the switches feel much more pleasant to use when they’re unlubed. Overall they feel very close to a holy panda but are not quite there. There’s something inherently more “Zeal” about it to me, and that’s okay. They don’t sound that great still, but I’m a silent nut so maybe I’ll review Zilent R2 sometime. I’ll make sure to limit my word count on that one, though. The sound of a Zealio has been one of their characteristics from the very beginning. They’re quite loud, and they’re quite high pitched. This is due to using the clear plastic that makes it so smooth in the first place and I don’t see this going away and I really don’t want it to.The difference between the two in every way that matters is gigantic. Visually, the only difference is that the Zealios V2 has a slightly brighter purple hue, and is less blue. But the moment you press it, and it’s difficult to believe they were ever cut from the same cloth. Feel?

Ok this might be an option over Holy Panda or Zealio v2. This kind of switch has probably the biggest PEAK in tactility. These switches have a Tactile bumpy feel that can be responsible to indicate successful keystrokes. Wobble is this issue where a stem does not stay completely put in the middle of the switch and instead moves around from side to side once nudged or once a keycap is mounted on top and the keycap is moved around. To me, this is a negligible non-issue and will be given much less attention than the rest of the criteria. Your experience and opinions may vary so if you have any specific questions you can ask me or comment below.

Different and slightly inferior to Holy Panda imho for sound (panda has more of a THOCC), due the housing, but the difference is so small once lubed that i really don't mind using these over HP .Some might even prefer the sound of Zealio, this is a subjective thing, but whatever you prefer, the Zealio sound is a lot better now.
