There's a slight bump in the phase mismatch in the mid-mid that causes vocals and instruments to sound wider and more expansive on the right side, but this is difficult to notice using regular, real-life content.

Did that and immediate joy was to be had with accurate and deep bass complimenting the higher frequencies. However, this comes at the expense of the low-mid, which sounds a little thinned out compared to the powerful bass response. The X3 is a boring DAP but a fabulous DAC, but I was starting to think that it had been overtaken by other FoTM DAC/Amps due to its age; then I remembered one of my hobbies, which is to repair old analogue hi-fi. The TRUTHEAR x Crinacle ZERO and the Razer Moray are wired, dual-driver IEMs designed for different uses, and their features reflect this.

It's possible to snag the cable on something while doing more intense movements, like headbanging, but the two-pin connector will detach before the buds get yanked out of your ears. The Zero itself has a triangular design (akin to the Tanchjim Hana 2021, just of a larger size) and is composed of resin. Then we get to the pre-formed ear hooks and the only issue I have with the cable whereby it's too firm and aggressively curved. This gives the RED agility and incisiveness with instruments like the bass guitar but it can feel a little light at times.Zero is captured by a glue drop process and it is solidified and shaped by ultraviolet and processed by hand polishing and spray varnish, which ensures a beautiful design while effectively strengthening the firmness treated by the glue coating. I doubt most will even notice this effect especially as it’s found widely throughout many other neutrally tuned IEMs. The first time I tried on I was let down, the treble is lower compared to the KZ10S Pro but after a couple days of listening to music with it I'm starting to grow into it, I started to notice a lot of the instruments part of the songs which I never noticed before. They feature a detachable, braided audio cable, meaning you can swap them out based on your preferences.

The Zero's lower-treble falls into the same vein of "slightly excessive" as the upper-midrange; it can be intensive and somewhat clack-y. However, the MOONDROP's treble performance is recessed and lacking in detail compared to the TRUTHEAR.

Female vocal are slightly too shouty, too raspy for my tastes (and yes, here, the lack of upper-treble does affect the timbre of vocals). The braiding past the splitter is slightly loose, but there were no microphonics perceived in use and the entire cable to this point was a pleasure to work with in not tangling by itself and being easy to re-shape as needed.
