We’re really good friends, apart from the arguing – we may stop talking to each other for a day or two after our argument, but that’s completely normal, we’re used to that. Scenes in season two showed clashes between the Diddly Squat Farm team and West Oxfordshire District Council over planning applications for a car park and a restaurant with Jeremy finally granted permission to extend the car park in June. Kaleb will be signing his latest book at Jaffe and Neale in Chipping Norton on Saturday October 14 at 2. Half the brief page count is pictures with accompanying amusing captions, felt like they had a challenge bulking it out to get past 200 pages.

Biography: Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire in the UK who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in the Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, the second season of which will air in early 2023. This book is an enjoyable romp through the countryside, as seen through the eyes of a country boy, laying bare all the good and bad moments of life. My little boy can help me on the farm, he’ll help me feed the pigs and help feed the cows and come on walks through the crops with me so I keep his little legs busy. Utterly hilarious, this is Kaleb as you've got to know him and love him on the hugely successful television series.

I hope you to take some of these trips and look forward to hearing / reading your thoughts about places you visit. What would your advice be to someone who wants to get into farming but is not from a farming background?

His passion and spirit is what people have fallen most in love with, having witnessed it first-hand via his knowledgeable yet humorous appearances on the series. Hopefully one day, my little boy and my little girl [will] want to go into farming, but I want them to know if they become an accountant or lawyer [and] they want to go to London – they can come and visit me.And I thought, I might never get the chance to see these if I don’t venture a little bit further from home. Kaleb's writing style is engaging, humorous, and genuine, and it's clear that his passion for farming and love of the countryside shines through on every page. His hatred of sheep speaks to me on a molecular level- if you’ve ever farmed sheep I’m sure you’ll agree it’s like he’s looking into your soul and reading out what’s written there.

The books featured on this site are aimed primarily at readers aged 13 or above and therefore you must be 13 years or over to sign up to our newsletter. You’ll go gravy wrestling in Lancashire, nettle eating in Somerset, and venture to Hereford for the significant occasion that is Best Dressed Stick. I will leave you with my favourite quote from the book: ‘You give a sheep a choice between life and death, and it’ll look at one, and then at the other, and then it’ll run towards death every time. There’s lots of pictures in there, it’s very similar to the first book [ The World According to Kaleb].
