ROUND CAPACITY INTEGRATED HOPPER: The Nerf Gelfire blaster has an integrated hopper with 100-round capacity to unleash battle overload in highly competitive games. Outdoor use recommended The Nerf Pro Gelfire Legion sees velocities in the same range as the Mythic; I averaged 132fps. For a simple setup (no hop-up), accuracy was decent enough in terms of hitting a human sized target. Slamfire is less accurate, but also much a lot of fun to use. There were a relatively high number of double shots during testing – firing two gel balls still gets velocities over 100fps, but the range and accuracy is hindered. This occurred around once every five or six shots, but seems to be based on how fast you prime the blaster. Slower primes will leave the path from hopper to barrel open longer, leading to that extra round loading. Interestingly, the Mythic hopper has a loose fit, while the newer, smaller hopper has a tight fit. The Mythic hopper stays in place, of course, but that was always an annoyance. The Nerf Pro Gelfire Mythic sounded too good to be true; those pellets make a lot of grand claims that I wasn't sure they could cash, and wouldn't it all get gunked up anyway if we left the blaster lying around somewhere over the weekend?
