It's an alternative rock band's album alright, but no particular sound is overpowering another; Damon's voice so perfectly compliments the instruments, as the instruments dance with his voice. Their next album, 13 (1999) saw the band experimenting with electronic and gospel music, and featured more personal lyrics from Albarn. We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres. It’s fantastic, but compared to the two new songs they’ve released in 2023, it feels incredibly transitional.
