About this deal

However, If you want something better than the above in quality scent profile, quality development over time, and staying power, this is the best I have smelled out of the many, many similar profiles.

Personally it's another dime a dozen semi sweet blue men's fragrance that's getting by on the Armani designer label. Overall I think it's a great pick for young men in their late teens up to early-mid 20s but doesn't suit an older man like me at all because after a couple sprays I smell like I'm an old man desperately trying to be "young and cool" again like the Steve Buscemi meme where he's dressed youthfully and holding a skateboard saying "How Do You Do, Fellow Kids? Shortly after the citrus notes start to fade, during they dry down there's a point where it smells almost exactly, like (save for soft touches of wood) how Adg OG used to smell when it was first launched. It does remind me of Invictus, but the sweetness is very much toned down, making this the fragrance with the largest audience within this genre of fragrance. I must add this hits a nice sweet spot for me, it has the DNA of the original in the background to satisfy the nostalgic needs, but at the same different enough that you will not remind anyone of their older brother or something (not that this is a bad thing but I am just saying). The combination of woody notes combined with citrus and marine notes takes this fragrance to another level. When you have applied this fragrance to your wrist/arms you will persistently smell this amazing aroma as your arms move about. Acqua di Giò Absolu Instinct is a woody, resinous and slightly citrusy scent enchanted with some kind of dark ocean magic. GIORGIO ARMANI ACQUA DI GIO ABSOLU, the new creation of the Acqua di Gio fragrance line, is the work of the Master perfumer Alberto Morillas.

Whereas the Essenza and Profumo flankers have plenty of the original's DNA, Absolu is a radical departure. For me, it remains a dislikable fragrance, but for others, it remains a mystery, possibly evoking a liking. Morillas was also the creator of the first Acqua di Gio from 1996, as well as the first female Acqua di Gio from 1995, Acqua di Gio Essenza from 2012 and the marvelous (and my favorite) Acqua di Gio Profumo from 2015.After a few wearings, my nose was able to pick out the lemon and bergamot citrusy and aqua freshness, along with the amber and ebony🪵 notes. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually gets discontinued, especially since Profumo and Profundo get all the love.
