About this deal

For the 2015–16 season, Argyle entered a team into the South West Peninsula League Division One West, with home matches originally planned to be played at Bickleigh Barracks, before a change of plan saw them played at Seale-Hayne, dubbed 'Hodges Park' after club legend Kevin Hodges, outside Newton Abbot. The appointment of Paul Sturrock as manager in November 2000 marked a turning point in Argyle's history. Argyle were relegated out of the Second Division in 1968, 1977 and 1992, having won promotion out of the Third Division as runners-up in 1974–75 and 1985–86. After a successful cup run in which they beat West Bromwich Albion, a top division team at the time (1–0 courtesy of a Tommy Tynan goal after 58 minutes), and Derby County (the first game ended 0–0, but Argyle won the replay 0–1 at the Baseball Ground), they lost 1–0 to Watford in the semi-final at Villa Park courtesy of a George Reilly goal. Ahead of the 2019–20 season, Hallett appointed Ryan Lowe as Derek Adams' successor, signing the then 40-year-old Liverpudlian and his assistant manager Steven Schumacher from Bury.

In 2016–17, Argyle won promotion to League One, and again in 2019–20 following relegation the previous season. Unlike traditional screen printing which involves layering on top, sublimation printing involves embedding the colours actually into the fabric resulting in a smoother surface, with logos that won’t split, crack or peel – and colours that remain brilliant and fade-free for longer. They won the Western League title in 1904–05 and the Southern League title in 1912–13, before winning election into the Football League Third Division in 1920. Promoted as champions under Paul Sturrock with 102 points in 2001–02, they secured a record fifth third tier league title in 2003–04, and would remain in the Championship for six seasons until administration and two successive relegations left them in League Two by 2011.

Players of Stade Olympique l’Emryne on purpose shot themselves goals in protest over unjust refereeing decisions in previous matches. Switching out the turquoise hues of both the ‘Peak Ready Pack’ and the even more recent ‘Phantom Vortex’ pack, which saw the GX and Luna paired up for their own adventure, the ‘Mad Ready’ pack sees shades of black, white and gold spread throughout the four different silos.
