I think it's really pretty and honestly I don't think is only a cold weather scent I think you can get away with wearing this in spring, as long as it's not in high heat I can see this being an all year-rounder. I don't know if it is just my bottle or not but, I noticed the sprayer sprays slower and longer compared to all my other bottles and I seem to be going through this faster than my other perfumes. Goldea The Roman Night is one of the best new fragrances in my opinion which have been launched lately. I wish I could smell the rose a little heavier and I also wish they used turkish rose rather than classic rose to add some floral sweetness as classic rose is a little too mature and powdery and makes my nose itch. We remember the smell of winter (pines and snow), fall (cider and burning leaves), spring (cut grass and lily of the valley), summer ( sun, sea salt and honeysuckle) even if it's the most trivial thing we still remember its scent-Hanukkah candles, school buses,the smell of rain, Grandma's preference for Elizabeth Arden's Blue Grass,etc. Top notes are mulberry, Black Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Night Blooming Jasmine, Peony, Tuberose and Rose; base notes are Black Musk, Patchouli, Vetiver and Moss. Once I sprayed it on my skin and clothes, 30 minutes into wear and I couldn’t smell it around me anymore unless I tucked my nose pretty close to where i t was sprayed.Now, as far as my experience with The Roman Night Absolute goes, it starts off with intense and sharp orange blossoms that are adamant and piercing, which, to me, was not the best way to start given the fact that I don’t favor orange blossoms as an initial accord to start the blend with. It's white floral alright but as soon as the jasmin try to open up you smell a really intense saltiness!

The Roman Night is a lovely perfume with beautifully blended unusual combination of notes like that of mulberry, pepper and night blossoming jasmine where the end result is perfect. CONSERVATION Keep your fragrance out of direct sunlight and away from heat, otherwise its composition could be altered and become little more than a sad reminder of your favorite fragrance.

It's complex and interesting, and certainly worth checking out if you like the Tom Fords and other, more substantial fragrances. Looking at the "This reminds me of" section, I can tell you that this smells nothing like Chance or Coco Mademoiselle. Musk and patchouli brings it’s a soft and seductive feeling and it all comes together in a great way. We understand that fragrance can be unisex, but some of us feel the need to express ourselves through more feminine leaning perfumes or perfumes marketed for women.
