It does not require any setup or programming, so you can pop in the batteries and continue using your Sony HT-SF200. The Dolby Duel surround sound system and built in subwoofer is superb and the units size of just under 2ft or 600mm in length will fit on or under most TV stands. The included setup guide is very basic and maybe I’m a novice but after following the instructions to the letter I could not get the soundbar to omit TV sound. By signing up you agree with this and confirm that you are over 13 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

The (not supported) DTS format isn't common on its own; it's the fallback for the higher quality DTS-HD MA available on many Blu-ray discs. The Roku gives you access to Roku's media streamer, a platform that organizes all your channels in one place.I have a Quad hifi set up in my main home, and whilst that is obviously better, the SF200 does not sound horrible in comparison (as I expected it to). Good sound from just a sound bar on it's own (no separate sub woofer) and easy connection to my mobile to play music from. The Sony HT-S200F is an okay sounding soundbar that lacks a bit of bass and performs quite similarly to the Sony HT-S100F. It uses the left and right speakers to create a sound in the center, which sounds more diffused and less clear compared to a discrete center, but the performance is still good overall. Using just left and right speaker channels, the sound bar creates a realistic 3D audio experience that pulls you into whatever you listen to or watch.

Everything is downmixed to stereo and doesn’t feel as real as a discrete surround experience offered by tower speakers. The Sony is also smaller and easier to fit in your setup, on top of being a bit better-built, although still cheaply made.setups don't support Atmos either, if you're looking for one that can, the Sony HT-X9000F and the Sony HT-X8500 both downmix Atmos content into stereo to play it. It work's a treat, I have changed the settings in my TV to tell it that it has the sound bar, so use the active sound from there. For a start, I have a Sony SMART TV but when I place the sound bar in front of the set , it covers up the sensor receiving instructions from the TV remote! I had a small problem as I think someone had started to set the TV up, probably as it was described as ‘New other ‘as I was unable to put in my postcode and Wi-Fi so I had to do a factory reset.
