About this deal

Best of the Beast lacks tracks like Killers, Prowler and a other classics from the first two albums. Not only is this song just too long and dull on the Powerslave album, but this rendition is from Live After Death which sounds very thin. If your going to turn it up to 11 get some ear phones, it wasn't sociable listened to loud music back then and nothings changed. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I hope the minimal money you got for this second hand CD minus it's case and the other stuff you decided to take without my permission while damaging my vehicle pays toward your accidental heroin overdose !

Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. Consequently, hidden gems such as "Total Eclipse", the B-side to "Run To The Hills", went largely unrecognized. I'm probably talking a load of rubbish but they didn't sound dissimilar to a superb band by the name of Rainbow. Irrespective of the source, all of our collectables meet our strict grading and are 100% guaranteed.Condition - This item is in Excellent condition or better (unless it says otherwise in the above description). There was Edward The Great with it's awkward inconsistent track list or the obvious cash grab Somewhere Back In Time.

Best of the Beast was Iron Maiden's first "best of" album, [4] released in 1996 in three formats: a 34 track (four disc) vinyl, a 27 track (two disc) CD, a 16 track (single disc) CD and MiniDisc. The two-CD edition contains two songs from the band's 1979 demo tape/EP The Soundhouse Tapes ("Iron Maiden" and "Strange World," of which the latter was previously unreleased).

It obviously features a lot of great music but I can't see it appealing to those seeking just the hits. It's safe to say that every track on this collection is a winner but the difference between the two makes them both worthy of a pick up. Over the years, we have had multiple best of collections from the English heavy metal legends, Iron Maiden.

A 2CD box set of of the The Best of the Beast was released as a limited edition of the 1996 compilation album. Finally, in 1996, long after the band's imperial phase had ended, a round-up of all their best-known songs was released. Inarguably, the simultaneous release of three variations of the same album was an entirely inspired yet predictable move, indicative of the band's newfound depth of awareness regarding modern music consumption and the pre-millennial expansion of metal. As for the scumbag, if you know who you are, and if I ever catch you, you will wish you had never chosen your path in life. The limited edition also two songs from the band’s 1979 demo tape, The Soundhouse Tapes (“Iron Maiden” and “Strange World,” of which the latter one was previously unreleased).

Both "Virus" and "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" had promotional music videos created, the latter of which was filmed during The X Factour with new lead vocalist Blaze Bayley replacing Bruce Dickinson, who sang the original studio recording. Also included are a new single, entitled " Virus", [4] as well as previously unreleased live versions of "Afraid to Shoot Strangers" and "Revelations" (the latter exclusive to the vinyl edition). The difference in audio is striking and is worth picking for anyone wanting some good audiophile quality Iron Maiden. Iron Maiden achieved veneration and prosperity primarily as an album-oriented band whose propensity for exceeding deadlines and writing too much or too little material often resulted in hasty track selections. Best of the Beast" was issued across three formats: the 4-disc vinyl edition, 27-track double-disc package or the truncated single-disc version aimed at the less hardcore headbanger.

The cover art was designed by Derek Riggs, known for having created most of Iron Maiden's early album covers.
