About this deal

If you want to get a vote in the next Ask Doctor Anne Topic, Ingredient Spotlight or product I review, don’t forget you can head over to my Patreon account to get more involved! Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. This means that you could quite easily just use the product and a moisturiser and be confident and ready for the day. Reveal your skin’s health with the La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C10, a radiance-revealing formula suitable for all skin types that will fight free radical damage and add vitality to the complexion. The thing that surprised me most though and that might be tricky in how you can use it is that it contains Salicylic Acid alongside the Vitamin C.

Vitamin C has been praised for its anti-aging and brightening benefits, but studies have shown that it also works as a sun-damage protectant. Wrinkles and fine lines appear reduced, skin texture and tone look more uniform and even and skin regains its radiance.

Pure Vitamin C smooths the appearance of fine lines to lend skin visible radiance, while hyaluronic acid plumps skin with moisture to soften the look of skin. The serum is filled with many beneficial ingredients, such as vitamin C, salicylic acid and calming neurosensine, that complement any skin type. It is not the only Vitamin C option available from the brand, there is also a face and an eye cream in the line, but unlike the serum these don’t disclose their Vitamin C percentage. I'm afraid I didn't like the tube ( there's a proper name for it but it escapes me) as it's difficult to conte how much product you need.

It is also quite orange in color right from the start, but even darker six weeks after opening it, which I attribute to Vitamin C oxidation. As mentioned above there is also a not-disclosed percentage of Salicylic Acid (personally I don’t think it is close to the 2% usually used for breakouts due to the placement on the ingredient list and the fact that I experienced no irritation with daily use whatsoever) and Vitamin E. I started popping it on immediately after I woke up, after washing my face allowing it to sink into the skin. Besides, it is also travel size so you can easily take it on the plane to keep your skin boosted while going away.

The serum is accompanied by a pipette which, although the product is a little thick and I had my initial concerns, works very well, allowing you to control the amount of product that is desired accurately. I have sensitive, combination skin prone to redness, so it’s a relief to find a vitamin C formula that doesn’t cause skin irritation and actually works on wrinkles. Treat skin to the hydrating, brightening and smoothing properties of La Roche-Posay Pure Vitamin C10 Serum, a lightweight face serum that helps to promote the look of a brighter and balanced skin tone. I don't mind the stickiness as once it's on the skin it sinks in, but I was very puzzled by what seemed to be grittiness on my face afterwards. This is worse for sensitive skin, which can age differently and more rapidly, often suffering with redness, thinner skin and more age marks.
