This Single Malt is unpeated, lightly fruity (orchard fruits) with a very delicate and subtle sherried character. This blend has an ABV of 45% and is a rather less peaty malt, with an exquisite fruity profile and a certain sherry cask influence. The new single malt is said to be made with whiskies spanning various ages (hinting at the inclusion of older whiskies than the previous NAS release) with classic delicate, floral character and primarily ex-Sherry casks used for maturation.
