About this deal

You can also (or in lieu of Shared Objectives) use Pencil Powers, assigning one power to each pencil color; those powers will pass with the pencils, each round. This part’s fairly easy; here, you should look for the station with a color that matches your current pencil. In this case, the box starts off full but as you use up the scoresheets there will be a little more space inside for things to rattle around.

Your aim is to score as many points as you can by optimising the routes of the four underground lines on your map of London. The Central Station is an omni-connector; it may be worth trying to get there to get the Interchange bonuses. After the end of the round points are awarded, pencils/pens are rotated, the stations cards are shuffled up and you repeat the process, flipping cards, drawing lines, scoring the line and passing the pencils, until you have drawn all four lines and the end game is triggered. If you select this option when starting a solo game, and have enabled "Share data with Blue Orange" in the game's settings, you will be dealt a solo game with a pre-shuffled deck of cards for the day. Ultimately this is a multiplayer solitaire experience as players pass around pencils and puzzle out the best way to draw their current line to maximize points. Well, there are five pink cards with various station symbols, as well as six blue cards that feature various symbols and one junction.

Try not to draw too many lines that cut off other routes; you can’t cross anything you’ve already done. The maps are not the most attractive thing you will set your eyes upon, but it’s beauty comes from its functionality and very clever layout. I assume Blue Orange also kind of tries to focus on fun, exciting color schemes for their games, so this was a winner, here. Next Station London | The Gaming CircusIt's time to get to the drawing board with this game, as The City of London has commissioned you to redesign their underground network! Interchange station points (interchanges that connect different colors: 2 points per interchange connecting 2 lines, 5 points per interchange connecting 3 lines, 9 points per interchange connecting all 4 lines).

And although I usually like an AI to gun for, I am very happy simply trying to optimise my own network. Getting in a position where you are reliant on a flip of the card to reveal something you so desperately need can be common. I’m not as sold on the “go to every District” objective, but, the game is just as fun without the Shared Objectives!
