About this deal

You could literally just add in bunch of units with Sanguinary in the title and you’ll be well on your way to a 2000 point list. he Blood Angels exemplify the image of the Angels of Death more so than any other Space Marines Chapter.

We will use anonymous information about the ad you saw and how you engaged with it to measure and improve our advertising campaigns in the future. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. You’ll have a nice armored core of two Impulsors, two DC Dreads, and a Gladiator Reaper to move up and provide mobile fire support.

This kit also comes with extra parts that you won’t necessarily use, which means you have extra parts to practice with, including those tricky faces. With that in mind we’re going to step attempt to at least add some Blood Angel’s vitae into our list. And honestly, I don’t know if it’s going to fill a gap the army has or if it’s just going to be more redundancy.

You can paint them as any Space Marine faction you want, but the upgrade sprues have the Blood Angel Iconography, so won’t be useful if you’re painting them up as Dark Angels or Space Wolves or anything. I’m not sold on a second Primaris Librarian — not because they aren’t useful, but rather, because we kind need those points for other Blood Angel stuff.

A hobbyist, player, and collector of miniatures and games, Adam's current obsession are his Death Armies for Age of Sigmar, his Blood Angels and Tyranids for 40k, and his ever growing Arkham Horror: The Card Game Collection. They mention that it is a good entry point into the hobby and a decent starter for the Blood Angels. But don’t worry, it’s not all bad, while they go insane they gain some strength of their Primarch and get to go down in the blaze of glory. As someone who spends a lot more time building and painting miniatures than playing with them, getting so many figures at once is enough to keep me busy for months at a time.

However, I think it’s the Primaris version of a Baal Predator and it fits well with this army’s theme. However, you don’t really get any close combat weapons — at least not enough for propper Death Company unit. Wherever possible we will work with you on items that have been purchased incorrectly or on items you are dissatisfied with upon receipt.Alternative options are Furious Dreadnoughts (120 points + wargear each) or even the Librarian Dreadnought (150 points + wargear). We’re revisiting the Blood Angel Combat Patrol to see how many points it is and where to build from there. A second box will allow you to round out those squads and net us a second Impulsor to ferry units around. They mention the instructions are clear, and it's a good place to start if you're looking to start Space Marines. Personally, I just don’t feel like it’s a “real” Blood Angels army without at least 1 unit of Death Company.
