About this deal

So perfectly blended, jasmine, orange blossom and vanilla are the most prominent notes, coconut and wood makes it more creamy and deep. Black Opium took me awhile to love, but it doesn't work for me in the summer as well as it does in cooler weather due to some of the rich notes. For the video campaign, Italian director Matteo Garrone renewed his collaboration with actress Emilia Clarke. For some odd reason, this is a dead ringer for Arcana's Queen Crossbones - especially in the drydown. Sillage is moderate to low and longevity could be better but doesn't all good things come to the end?

Creamy jasmine mixed with the very delicate coconut aroma that rounds this out, along with this juicy green apple. I think the tiare confusion was due to the green apple and neroli - made it smell sweet and candy-like. That annoying aftershave smell never goes away because it comes exactly from heliotrope and it's a base note and the key note as well. minutes to an hour is what I get for longevity, and that is with me doing three sprays in one spot on clothes.

I bought this specially for a date bc I wanted a new fragrance to wear n the guy complimented me right away saying I smelled good n delicious.

My key tip for anyone with this scent is to layer it with a vanilla/coffee body wash, lotion and seal with oil prior to spraying. I thought based on the color of the juice and the simplistic design of the bottle it would be a rich, sophisticated, elegant "dark" fragrance with more of a mature back bone. And despite its similarity with Libre I completely agree with an earlier review saying that it’s worth having both. The One has been watered down so much I don't even recognise it anymore, so I wanted to try this one instead. This is just powder, sugar, and more powder, and sugar, layer after layer until a faint - and dizzy at this point - feeble floral note attempts to make its appearance. These are my favorite things about a fragrance and I have had my heart broken several times in the past few months.

One can argue whether the opening is innovative, as in the first stages this perfume smells a bit like your generic gourmand. Crystal Noir is one of my fav frags, I'd say this fragrance has NOTHING in common with Crystal Noir. The coffee note is really prominent, but the caramel and the violet in this really pushes through helping to make this fragrance sweet on the nose.I definitely see the resemblance to Libre Intense upon dry down but not the opening notes and since Libre is my favorite scent, I’m happy.

Now, in terms of longevity, it doesn’t last too long on skin or clothes for me, but subtlety of the caramel note is addictive. I discovered this over a year ago, and this has been one that I always come back to its one that I can always appreciate and it’s one gives me comfort, it truly is beautiful, and I don’t think I could ever get bored of this one, I don’t get any similarities to Black opium.Update: i wore this several times to work this week, some cold rainy weather, some dry cold conditions.
