The DDJ-800 is the first 2-channel controller from Pioneer to feature high-definition LCD screens showing information such as playback time, BPM, and waveforms in the center of each jog wheel. The DDJ-800 features 16 tactile illuminated rubber pads (8 per deck) to trigger Hot Cues, Pad FX, Beat Jump, Sampler, Keyboard mode, and more. With a setting for either Light or Heavy, you can avoid the horrible “howls” and “whistles”, making your sets more slick and professional. The controller's buttons, knobs and faders are arranged in the same way as those on the club-standard CDJ and DJM gear. Page buttons for each performance mode will enable you to expand upon the number of hot cues, samples, and effects that you can trigger on a deck. There is a combo XLR/¼-inch TRS Jack input as well as an independent ¼-inch TRS Jack microphone input.An OLED display at the top of the Beat FX section lets you see which effect you’ve currently got selected, as well as the BPM and current beat length. AUDIO MIXER FEATURE: Use the DDJ-800 to control the channel faders, trims, and EQs of external equipment such as turntables and media players.
