About this deal

No sooner had he been granted demonhood for his service in Shadespire all of a sudden the portal closed to this plain of Hell. You wouldn’t think a book of this length would feel like it took hardly any time to read, but the creative world building captured my attention from the start, and the combination of interesting characters and a perfectly paced plot held it throughout, so that the hours of reading melted away unnoticed; something the amazing narration helped with, I'm sure.

Risking everything, he will need to tread a thin line between hero and heretic to keep Shal Gara from falling into ruin and chaos. All these minis will probably help me create a decent Cabal along with their White Dwarf Slaughterpriest Leader… Mayatroth The Judge.Estes and Galley provide a gorgeous map of Shal Gara which is immensely helpful for readers learning their way around. He doesn’t carry a scales for balance, he carries a spiked ball on a swinging chain to deliver his own version of balance. Forced onto the front lines of a war forgotten by history, Tarkosi must balance battling the royal demon bound to him with the rapid progression of the magical abilities its presence has bestowed. He’s not an asshole, but he does start to get a bigger head as his powers settle in and he gets used to wielding them.

It goes way beyond that into the extraordinary and I was so delighted that I got a chance to experience DEMON'S REIGN in all its glory. This is only 7 models, but feel that over a campaign I will get to use my other minis and get up to a full 10, hopefully enough to even get a big mean minotaur greater demon. Tarko is someone who seems unable to stick at a job, whether his own doing or others, remains to be seen as the story unfolds.Everything about this book made me smile widely because it shows you that there are no rules in fantasy and that you don't have to stick to the same old formulas to weave some amazing storytelling at the highest level. The demons right hand was glued in place, but the left hand was built into the haft of the axe and was a whole cm past his left wrist, just floating. This started out kinda slow before picking up with an interesting event that changes the life course of our unlikely main character. The blood effect probably won’t last long because it is just a strand of static grass with Blood for the Blood God slid down it. Tarkosi finds himself in a spot where people are likely to behead him first, ask questions later about how and why a demon was in his head.
