The BST Standard Haze Fluid has been manufactured for use in this type of machine and produce a light, semi-translucent, haze with no odour and a respectable long hang-time. It does not affect my breathing when I'm singing, and I'm sure the type of person that might complain about smoke will not realize that this affect is even turned on. Mineral oil based fluids are used in machines referred to as ‘crackers’ and whilst producing an excellent effect have taken somewhat of a backseat in recent years, mainly due to cost, but with the emergence of a new ‘breed’ of machines are due to see a resurgence.
