Kirke is for the very bold and passionate individuals, it is not a beautiful classic like Chanel or Dior, it is a magical potion that works on the subconscious mind. It’s a crying shame because the opening has some amazingly beautiful juicy fruits but they barely come through at all even in the opening. The silky caress of lily of the valley is as natural in feel as a barefoot walk in the sand, its dewy, green floralcy warmed by a distinctive heliotrope, and given force by dark patchouli and musk. I love the combination of the passionfruit and the raspberry, I think this is what makes the opening so good and balanced.

An admirable scent with passion fruit and peach aperture, pursued by elegant pear and sand notes smell so treasurable here, the lavish mugue and cassis are used in a very authentic and reassuring aspect through the middle accords it allies so accurately with patchouli and heliotrope in the ground notes that I always find myself reaching out for the bottle in my purse to inhale the freshly sprayed status of it, cause it smells so divine and refreshing, Kirke Terenzi, at its best, is an aroma that's in the vein of a perfume that is just a tad bit edgier. Not bad, but not at all what the goddess of sorcery would smell like, who in my mind is veiled in darkness and mystery, sensually and allure. The brand captures her character in olfactory terms with a blooming bouquet of fruit resting upon a sensual musk base.Of course, I should also love Erba Pura but it just smells like sunscreen to me - no fruit at dry-down. When I sniffed it for the first time it smelled like shampoo (particularly a fruity version of Herbal Essences).

It is too joyful, obvious cocktail of fruits, already ripe or maybe overripe to the point of it attracting flies. Well balanced, exotic, expensive smelling, and not something you smell on every street you walk down. I can understand the fructis shampoo comments because I’ve used that myself and my sample of Kirke smells alike to it.It’s very pleasing in that “just washed hair” sort of smell but I wouldn’t want to keep smelling that all day or I’d get a bit of a headache. However I am sure that someone who does like sweet fragrances might fall in love it especially since the musk inside is what makes it last longer and makes it more bearable I guess but the sweetness still is what's dominating in this fragrance. I was surprised that this holds up in high heat and humidity pretty well (it’s in the mid 90s today where I live, very very humid, and I’ve been sweating and this fragrance is still going strong).
