About this deal
That’s all I can say regarding notes really, smells like a nice expensive rose soap, made with real rose not artificial. I keep thinking maybe I just got a bad bottle or something because the way people describe it sounds totally up my alley. There is this underlying disgusting artificialness that you are able to smell lightly when the perfume is initally sprayed. It is something that I was missing in my collection as I tend to gravitate towards more floral and spicy fragrances.
The heart is a wonderful sunny blend of orange blossom, heliotrope and cyclamen while the base consists of sensual notes of musk, blond woods and amber. The closest I had to a signature scent at that time was a mixture of Newport 100’s, weed and a dash of the ol’ Love Spell. At the time, I thought my options when it comes to fragrances were pretty much what my mother wore or fruity body sprays I'd find at Victoria's secret.
I got it because everyone was describing it is a beautiful sweet summer fragrance but it literally makes me sick when I smell it. I've smelled other beachy fragrances like Bobbi Brown Beach, and Bronzed Goddess, or Replica At The Beach but none have come close to the deliciousness that is JLo Miami Glow. The fragrance was officially launched at her first Runway Show on February 17, 2005, where she also introduced her "Sweetface" clothing line. Literally just smells like you’ve just had a nice bubble bath - perfect for when you just want to smell clean and fresh but don’t want to do too much or necessarily smell like perfume. For example, some top note citrus scents smell stronger immediately upon application, while a lavender middle note may be sensed after some time from application as the top note evaporates.
For a celebrity fragrance release, the last 20 years we’ve come to know them as sexy, sweet, candy, sugar concoctions, this is completely different.
