The majority of the first half of the book was literally just Violet learning the job, doing the job and getting good at the job, with lots of descriptions of minotaurs’ junk thrown in. This is set in a world full of monsters, like vampires, orgs, elves and most importantly, minotaurs. I definitely will not be recommending this to my mother and I’m sure my friends who saw me reading it on Goodreads were thinking WTF.Violet is currently drowning in debt, doing all she can to survive without moving back into her parents house. Before long, Violet is immersing herself in the multi-species community Cambry Creek, making new friends and before long… seeing a certain Minotaur outside of the milking farm.

I enjoyed Strange Love by Ann Aguirre which had an insectoid alien/human romantic pairing and some of the Ice Planet Barbarian books to name a few. The sexual encounters were solid, the characters were interesting, and the author took some risks with a unique premise. Even though Rourke had told her, he's older and learned from his previous marriage what he wants, what makes him happy, and that Violet is it. And they’re minotaurs…I get that they’re a hybrid beast, but it would have been wonderful to see that they had pubic hair resembling a labyrinth or something with their reproductive organs to set them apart.And I love the idea of a little town where people of different species get along, it looks like the ideal backdrop for some very interesting stories that I hope CM Nascosta will bring to light soon. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren't so one-sided after all. Honestly it was just a matter of time for feelings to come into play if there was already attraction. But for those of you willing to try Morning Glory Milking Farm, be prepared to fall in love with our human Violet and the gorgeous Minotaur Rourke. Turns out Minotaur semen is the magic ingredient in Viagra, so as you can imagine, it's liquid gold and highly sought after by pharmaceuticals.
