Yamaha’s 8-inch HS8 monitors have long been industry standard in recording studios around the world. All ART-type ribbon tweeters have a unique pleated diaphragm, where the folds expand and compress like a concertina in response to the audio signal. The U-Art ribbon tweeters are based on the same technology used in the more upmarket A and S ranges, and offer a similarly sparkly and detailed sound.

This studio monitor is perfectly suited for use in small control rooms in music, video and broadcast production. The frequency response of the Adam T5v extends all the way between 45Hz and 25kHz for an unrivalled nearfield response, ideal for mid-level mixing and music creation before the mastering stage. It seems to appear when the amp is pushed hard on every Adam TV series model I've seen reviewed on this site.
