About this deal

The area containing Avon Street, Bristol contains a higher-than-average level of social housing - 51% of household spaces. The book is nicely paced, with enough historical detail to anchor it firmly in the Victorian period, but not so much that it obtrudes into the writing and hinders the reader from enjoying the characters and the pacey story. Chapman Taylor was commissioned to design the new developments to be architecturally striking landmarks and active and exemplary student accommodation. The development will have an active ground floor facing the street, courtyard and the water, including a highly active reception area to enhance security for residents and visitors, and views from the street through to the harbour. This page combines information for the address Avon Street, Bath, BA1 1AL, and the neighbourhood in which it resides.

Being a local resident in the city I obviously found the setting really interesting, but you don't need to know Bath to enjoy this book.

Avon Street, Bath, BA1 1AL is within the Bath City Centre policing neighbourhood, under the Avon and Somerset Constabulary force area.

hectare site currently contains the 693-space Avon Street car park, a coach drop-off area with 13 spaces, a cafe and public toilets. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. In the immediate vicinity of BA1 1AL there is a large concentration of residents that are single - 72% of the resident population. Chapman Taylor’s design for the Avon Street site will provide a 471-bed student residence complex across three buildings arranged around an open courtyard on the 0. Previously based in London, Jonathan has design experience working across a number of sectors including residential, education and commercial offices. The information on housing, people, culture, employment and education that is displayed about Avon Street, Bristol, BS2 0PX is based on the last census performed in the UK in 2021. The entrance is on Corn Street, A367, opposite the Mission Theatre; the exit is on Ambury, A367, opposite the Quasar building. Please note that the figures may include adjacent streets - see the Summary tab for an explanation and map of the area that these figures cover. It is hoped that removing the upper levels will also help to reduce anti-social behaviour on site and improve the appearance of the area. The characters are very well drawn and even minor ones, such as the three year old daughter of one of them, are three dimensional and convincing.

It is noteable that the amount of residents reporting Very Good or Good health increased in 2021 compared to the previous census, despite an aging UK population. Figures for relationship status do not include those aged under 16, or those family members aged 16-18 who are in full-time education. The enclosed garden to the rear is a very generous space and is laid to lawn and terrace, flanked with mature trees and shrubs.

It is refreshing to read a Bath based novel that is not entirely focused on how great the upper crust of society is! The proposed development will relieve some of the housing pressure on residential areas in the city and provide high-quality accommodation and shared facilities in a superb location. The upstairs bathroom is a real bonus as so often the bathrooms are downstairs in this style of property. Areas with large single populations are often in built-up areas, with good entertainment facilities. This address within the Lawrence Hill ward had a larger than average concentration of residents that were in full-time employment - 45% of the resident population.

I’ve lived in Avon Street for the past year which unfortunately just falls out of the ES (Eastville and St Phillips) Parking Permit zone.He is also responsible for leading a number of key mixed-use regeneration projects in the Bristol studio. Councillor Kevin Guy, leader of council, said: “We’re moving ahead with the partial demolition of the Avon Street multi-story car park as part of the wider Bath Quays project. My car is an older car and I do have a steering wheel lock too, so I’m not as worried around parking in these areas, but would be interested for peoples thoughts. Many poorer areas lack a majority age group, which is due in part to the people in that area being constrained by circumstance rather than being able to choose where to retire, raise a family or grow up.
