Use this Stratagem before the battle, during the Declare Reserves and Transports step (if you are playing a mission without this step, use this Stratagem during deployment instead). While they don’t have access to Storm Shields, Wardens get some more durability at least in this regard.

Cannot make a charge move within Engagement Range of any unit that was not the target of the charge. In addition, if a unit is Battle-shocked when it is selected to Fall Back, you must take a Desperate Escape test for every model in that unit before any are moved.

That unit can make a Normal Move as if it were your Movement phase, but must end that move more than 9" away from any enemy models. If the result of the Wound roll is greater than or equal to the required number shown in the table above, then that Wound roll is successful and scores one wound against the target unit.
