Be it a handset for the new roommate in your shared apartment, an additional telephone for working from home, or the convenience of the smartphone that's always handy: with the FRITZ! The free software updates increase convenience and performance and are installed at the touch of a button.

To help others I can tell you that it comes with a Euro plug and will like their other “C” phones, download and install the same language as the FritzBox Router after pressing the “Dect” button. It’s very simple, press a button on the phone, press the DECT button on the 7530 and the two pair up. If you would like your smartphone to ring only for certain landline telephone numbers, select only these numbers in the settings of FRITZ! From here you can see all of the registered phones, set internal numbers, enable/disable the DECT function, set a PIN (for when registering a phone - safety function), set the DECT field strength and DECT eco features (there's also a very useful daily schedule you can use), permit secure only connections (or not), enable access protection for various functions (via separate PIN), check details and stats for each of the telephones and configure the various web services. Once you select your preferred language the telephone will download the required translation files (that may take a while).You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. In theory, you can control elements of a smart home from the handset as well, something I haven’t tried as AVM don’t currently have smart home products in the UK.
