A superlight triple-texture gentle facial cleanser that transforms from gel to oil to milk (in contact with water). The whole idea of Beauty Pie is that the products you get are made in the same labs and factories as some incredibly high-end and well-known brands, but you don’t pay the mark-up that traditionally is piled on as a result of fancy packaging and expensive ads starring megastars.

It has a lovely fresh scent, comes in a pump dispenser that’s so quick and easy to use and it’s lasted me a fair while now, so it’s definitely my favourite of them all. If you pour it onto a cotton pad, most is absorbed by the pad and if you pour some into your hand, it’s difficult to get it successfully on your face. They are good friends because ethylhexylglycerin can boost the effectiveness of phenoxyethanol (and other preservatives) and as an added bonus it feels nice on the skin too. I’m a fan of Beauty Pie – I love the apricot cleansing balm and the QI energy moisturiser and think the quality of products overall is excellent.While this product is by no means a must, it is a lovely addition to your routine, particularly if you're new to skincare and struggle to find the will to execute your routine. I’ve found with most other balms I’ve tried is that they’re quite oily but this one is almost waxy in comparison. The texture of the moisturiser is lovely and similar to the Japanfusion Elixir and it sinks into the skin really well.

The new product is a skin-quenching, gel-like cream that has proved my go-to summer skincare product of 2023. The consistency is very watery, which makes it tricky to apply and it was just very underwhelming really.Another added ingredient of the Japanfusion Cleanser is Jabara Extract which is rich in Vitamin C, helping to prevent the appearance of blemishes and prevent early signs of aging. The difference between "normal" Glyceryl Stearate and this guy is that the SE grade contains a small amount of water-loving soap molecules, such as sodium stearate. But it really struggles with eye makeup – even eyeshadow can struggle to remove fully, let alone mascara and liner. Vitamin E offers extra protection for your skin’s lipid barrier, keeping your skin healthy and nourished. My travel posts may not be as regular as I would like (money problems lol) so in the meantime I will be talking about how to budget/plan and organise a trip!

Despite it being so integral, rarely will you find anyone shouting from the rooftops about a holy grail cleanser, you are more likely to hear people talking about their hero serums, masks etc.You become a member of a club that gives you access to great formulations at a low cost (even taking the fee into consideration) and they get you hooked in and spending on a regular basis. In fact, it is commonly used to evenly mix sunscreen ingredients such as avobenzone and ethylhexyl triazone. I’ve tried using them on problem areas and a patch of hyperpigmentation on my skin, but they have done nothing so far!
