The first two acts are really creepy and tense, especially since Shyamalan keeps his cards close to his vest in regards to what is going on. Colors are mostly muted during the yellowish scenes, but outside of those they are bright and amazingly rich and vibrant. M. Night Shyamalan is certainly a horror maestro still and this new film Old proves the director has no signs of slowing down. The last scene with the main family on the beach that was shot at the end of production got everyone emotional.
