As always, remember to prime new coils. Place a few drops (maybe more than a few in the UB Pro Coils) of e-juice in the coil cotton before installing to saturate and avoid getting dry hits.

The latest mod in the Quest line is the Thelema Quest. It’s just like the Thelema DNA 250C mod but without the DNA chipset. It takes dual 18650 batteries and has a maximum wattage output of 200W. It uses the Quest 2.0 chipset and comes with VPC, bypass, power, voltage, and TC modes. The kit comes with the UB Pro Pod tank and two coils, a P1 0.15Ω coil and a P3 0.3Ω coil. On the Thelema it is possible to install tanks with a maximum diameter of 27.6mm without protrusions. The build quality is pretty good. As noted above, the battery compartment is well made, and the door is easy to put on and off. This battery door and compartment affect the design by making the vape a bit bulky, but it has to be bulky to accommodate the 18650s. The magnets on the battery door are strong and dependable and the raised fire and menu buttons are large and chunky in comparison to others mods out there. The first impressions beyond the modality used are those of a balanced Coil and as a flavor the sugary part of the liquid seems to be very accentuated. While the TC mode performance is not as good as the DNA version, the difference in price is much larger than the difference in performance. The Quest 2.0 chipset provides an experience that is 80% as good, but TC mode enthusiasts will notice the difference. Lost Vape defines its chipset as a valid alternative to the DNA 250C, certainly you cannot blame it given the almost 100 euro difference in price between Thelema Quest and Thelema DNA, such as to justify the absence of the TCR. The 0.96 “80 * 160 pixel TFT color screen is a really nice interface, it has a lot of selectable colors, a lot of information and a good brightness. The design of this mod is attractive and really, why wouldn’t it be? It looks just the same as its much more expensive DNA counterpart, a mod that was designed to be good looking. The build quality is similarly as good as the DNA version and that’s surprising considering that the Thelema Quest kit costs less than half of the DNA mod by itself. After all though, the DNA mod is the expensive component. Let’s move on to the UB Pro Pod tank.
