Just like the Vale is tropical at Basgiath, as more dragons arrive in the valley in Aretia, the temperature rises. So it’s a question of Lewellen, who’s the current Duke, what he’s going to do with the existence of Aretia. Likewise, others had book jackets that didn't appear to be printed correctly, with the "Iron Flame" text fading or not aligning as it should.

Over a feverish few months, Yarros crash-wrote “Fourth Wing,” an intricately plotted 500-plus-page narrative that takes place at an elite war college, where two dragon riders feud, then fall in love. Although Violet’s body might be weaker and frailer than everyone else’s, she still has her wits—and a will of iron. One can already see by this point how hard it is to give this book the 10 star, 100% review it deserves! Dragons and castles and combat and morally gray love interests — what more could satiate the romantasy readers out there? OK, he’s still in hiding at this point and who better to convince everyone that nothing’s wrong with him than Violet. I recently read Iron Flame, the much anticipated sequel to the dragon fantasy/romantasy book Fourth Wing. Violet could go back in time (since Andarnas was to stop time maybe reverse since she’s older) Talk to her dad or liam, maybe save xaden in the future.

The deepest and strongest relationships are built on a foundation of unbreakable trust but there’s so much preventing that, Xaden’s just a naturally secretive guy, the lives of all the marked children and everyone in Aretia, and lets not forgetting backstabbing snoopy Dain Aetos! After "Iron Flame" was released, many readers said on social media that their copies of the book were misprinted — in a puzzling variety of ways. SO much happens within these 623 pages it feels like it was both a longer and shorter book at the same time. I always say I’m the ultimate Dain apologist, because when you’re in first-person POV, you only see it from Violet’s point of view. How did you decide how spicy you wanted “Iron Flame” to be in comparison to “Fourth Wing,” and how you wanted to go about fitting in the sex scenes in this book, as war continues to spread and increase on The Continent?

Some said misprints could be viewed as collector items, whereas others said they were frustrated they spent money on a bungled book or distraught they wouldn't be able to read "Iron Flame" as intended. I mean – it could be Violet showing some sass towards him (now knowing he is truly not the friend she had before) or a mere observation or it could be him beginning to show some sort of weakness in that organised front maybe from some sort of internal guilt or struggle from what he did. I just noticed, up to chapter 7, how much he panicked and lost it when he first saw Violet in the quadrant and when she was hurt from her first time on the mats. I’ve created this site to share my insights and discoveries with fellow fans and anyone interested in exploring the rich world of Empyrean.

Just 30 minutes ago, Rebecca Yarros shared on her Instagram that there is an exclusive excerpt from Iron Flame available exclusively on today. As you can imagine, I read it, screamed, cried, read it again and I have so many questions it’s unreal. Everyone expected Violet Sorrengail to die during her first year at Basgiath War College, Violet included. Their arguments are worth "eavesdropping" on and their love scenes are well done (Chapter 48 is mentioned by some reviewers).

And it might be hard for readers, but he’s not the guy who’s going to save the world, he’s going to be the guy who saves people who are important to him. Per the official logline for the “Fourth Wing” TV series, “Enter the brutal world of Basgiath War College where there is only one rule: Graduate or Die. And she eats everything because I have teenage boys and my editor is like, why is she eating everything, and I’m like, have you ever been with teenagers?

I can’t wait to freak out… cry… laugh… get angry… giggle like a love struck teenager over the romance … most of all read and re-read and then cry that more of the books are not out yet ALL with you my friend! And I really appreciated the Ehler-Danlos syndrome rep, and I thought Yarros did a good job of exploring how it affects Violet’s training and her confidence. I mean I also believe Andarna has a significant role to play in this and I do believe it makes perfect sense. Andarna says she waited for Violet, that she was left by her kind as the last one for more than 600 years and decided to hatch when she finally did for Violet. I can’t go into it that much without revealing spoilers, but I found that Yarros dropped too many hints about what ended up going down in the ending.Due to this book’s hype, I’m not going to include a synopsis here, so feel free to look up what this book is about if you’ve managed to miss the frenzied discussion around it. But for now, discover all the books in the Fourth Wing series (also known as The Empyrian series), in this complete guide to the widely popular young adult fantasy romanceseries. Overall, I definitely don’t think this was a bad sequel, and I also don’t think it felt rushed or unedited. um livro bem intenso, então a leitura se torna densa pq tem muitos personagens, um mundo muito bem construído, então cada página vc tem bastante coisa pra absorver. Fourth Wing was definitely more of an all vibes, no worldbuilding kind of book, so I’m glad that Yarros delves deeper into the world in Iron Flame.
