Hot Rod was only available as a part of the "Planet of Junk Clash" set with Wreck-Gar and Junkion Scrapheap. Autobot Hot Rod also features orange-yellow paint on his vehicle headlights, and an Autobot sigil on his vehicle hood/robot chest, just like his Henkei and Reveal the Shield figures. The arms have a disheartening tendency to spontaneously break at either pinned section of the shoulder joint, while the upper ratchet in the knee has a high likelihood of shattering, either rendering him only durable enough to transform a few scant times.
