The only major difference is that the a7 C has a slower flash sync speed and a smaller but higher resolution viewfinder. As far as the battery issue goes, at events where weight and power aren't an issue, carry all the batteries you need. We tested its burst shooting skills with a UHS-II card and the buffer is more generous than most people will need.But while our A7 IV steadied up perfectly for relatively static shots, it did seem pretty poor at run-and-gun style camera movements (or even walk-and-gun). It looks as if Sony may at last be moving over to vari-angle displays, which are so much more useful for video. If you don't shoot much video, or tend to specialize in one particular style, then you'll get more bang for your buck with a more specialist camera and an extra lens or two with the money saved.

This works particularly well for more challenging scenarios like walk-and-talk vlogging, and can also help suppress one of the Sony A7 IV's other weaknesses: rolling shutter.million dots, yet this brand new release is worse than any of that and worse than any other full-frame Alpha camera from this generation.
