Gudetama Catch (Sanrio): Gudetama will show a picture of himself on a thought bubble and the user must catch the corresponding picture on a plate they control. Pressing A will move it left and pressing B will move it right. There are 10 rounds, but making a mistake will end the game.

Princess Palace (Fantasy exclusive): From the second generation onward, visit Wonderland and use the Card Paint option until the Pumpkin Lantern is randomly gifted, and then use it. Name Replacement: The Tamagotchi's or user's name may have one or two letters replaced by random letters or symbols. The glitch occurs after a reset or Tamagotchi's death and it's unknown what causes it.

A video series titled "The Story of Mikusu" (愛のみくす物語 Ai no Mikusu Monogatari) was released by Tamagotchi TV to promote the m!x. The videos told the story of Mikusu, Kuchipatchi and Violetchi's mixed child from when she was born to when she got married. The story was acted out by people wearing Tamagotchi mascot heads. In both sequences, once the Tamagotchi is gone, only the profile screen can be accessed by tapping anywhere on the screen, showing the Tamagotchi's final stats. Holding down the home button will make a new egg appear, and tapping the egg will begin the hatching process. All food, items, photo decorations, and Gotchi Points will carry over to the new egg. The Sweets ( スイーツ) version was released in Japan in November 2019. It features two new locations and seven new and returning characters: Dolce Town ( Amamelotchi, Himedolcetchi, Hotcaketchi, and Patitchi) and Wagashi Village ( Himeamachatchi, Tsubuanonetchi, and Wagassiertchi). The Tamagotchi On features both Bluetooth and infrared connectivity, allowing it to connect to other On devices, and an app through tablets or smartphones. The Japanese Meets can connect to the m!x, including exchanging presents and playing games, but cannot marry. While the On and Meets can connect, they cannot send and receive gifts from each other. Additionally, the On cannot connect to the m!x. The first English Tamagotchi On units were distributed in May 2019 during the Clamour Summit 2019 event.Breaking with the traditional design of having the 10-icon layout, the Tamagotchi m!x instead has the animations take on the screen's full resolution. The 10 icons appear as a menu accessed through pressing the A button, with each icon's function appearing in a text box above. Minigames: Various minigames such as cooking, room cleaning, and quizzes were available year round. There were also seasonal themed games such as Goldfish Dipping and Swimming Relay only available during Summer. The minigames could be played with up to four people and users could earn gotchi points and items depending on their results.

The game ends if a button isn't pressed in time or a wrong button is pressed. 10 correct selections are a perfect game. Tamatching App: Available once the Tamagotchi has become an adult, the Tamagotchi can date other characters until they find a partner to marry. The user will be given four possible partners to choose from and each has their own dating profile, which includes their name, hobby, and quote.
