I feel like Nikki is definitely one of those kids who says they’re are starving children in Africa when you complain about a math test or something. With humor and wit, Rachel’s books encourage tweens to embrace their individuality and always let their inner dork shine through. André somewhat rivaled Brandon Roberts for Nikki's affection at first, but he eventually understood that Nikki only saw him as a friend and backed off.

Guys it is not fair judge a book without reading it, so just because you are mad the book kept getting delayed doesn't make it right to leave it a bad review.I love the fact that Nikki and the band were still able to go to Paris, after Nikki was not able to go due to the tour with the band and opening for The Bad Boyz. I liked the layout and illustrations in this book and I think many young readers will enjoy this installment of the Dork Diaries series. The eighth book, Tales of a Not-So-Happily Ever After, won the 2015 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work – Children award.

Despite Nikki being my least favorite protagonist of all time (Sophie from KOTLC finally gets a break haha) I am rooting for Branikki! Brianna is afraid of the tooth fairy because Nikki told her the tooth fairy collects children's teeth to make dentures for old people. I liked the art style change and it was fun learning about all the places Nikki went to on this trip.
