Genuine Saab plastic connector fitted between the clutch pipe and slave cylinder, also connects to reservoir feed pipe. The connection is press in bayonet fitting very similar to a JG Guest or Hep2o domestic water pipe fitting. Infact if the clutch pipe is off its only a few minutes job to remove the bulkhead adapter itself and take that as well. If subjected to continuous flexing the stainless-steel strands can eventually fracture and could penetrate the Teflon liner - vehicles should be regularly inspected for signs of wear. I really just wanted to give Lloyds a kit of parts for the upcoming clutch and gearbox mods including the braided hose, but I guess they can source it.

When you depress the clutch pedal, the clutch fluid pipe (or clutch hose) transfers the hydraulic fluid into the clutch system to disengage the clutch. Three (that's 3) Jubillee clips on each end of the new hose made sure it couldn't slide off under pressure.
