About this deal
One of my pet peeves with computer cases is when they don’t leave enough room to easily plug and unplug power cables after the PC is built. Out of the box, it runs the fans in Quiet Mode, but you also have Balanced, Extreme, and Zero RPM modes. With two mid-towers to compare (the Cooler Master HAF 500 and the SilverStone Seta Q1), the tiny Lian Li A4-H2O acts as an additional placeholder in today’s charts. Corsair's new iCUE 5000T RGB case will look familiar to anyone who paid attention to our review of the Corsair 5000D AirFlow, which we revisited shortly after, and then used in our review of the MP600 Pro Hydro liquid cooled SSD. but to be honest, we were not sure what Corsair was doing with that case and did not review it that favorably.

Removable Front and Roof Airflow Panels: Mesh panels are optimised for high airflow and removable for easy maintenance. Vibrant RGB Lighting from Any Angle: With 160 RGB LEDs integrated into the front, roof, and floor panels, plus 48 LEDs in the included fans, you’ll get fully customizable RGB lighting right out of the box. Also, know that radiator support matches the fan options, but there is one caveat, you cannot use a radiator in the front and on the motherboard tray simultaneously. The entire top will come off, as does the mesh panel in the center, to allow access to the cooling portion at the top of the iCUE 5000T RGB.uk/images/product_images/main/61/corsair-icue-5000t-midi-tower-rgb-tempered-glass-black-gecs-140-77362-1. Two combo drive bays and three SSD mounts allow multiple combinations of SSDs and HDDs up to a total of five 2. So you really have to love RGB lighting, and be willing to pay for it, if you’re considering this case. But its biggest derivation from the 7000D is an abundance of RGB–208 total addressable RGBs to be exact–which comes at a cost.
This is our first foray into the world of iCUE capable cases, and on paper, Corsair took an already well-accepted chassis line and took RGB LEDs to an entirely new level. That said, with a somewhat compact cable channel, things are a bit tight on the front-facing right edge. There is a hardware box that shipped inside the HDD cage, and upon opening it, we found this for the hardware. The cable channel works quite well because of the thick Velcro strips, but adding a few zip ties helps pin things down even more. Audio comes by way of a headphone/microphone combo jack, and the power LED shines through a translucent symbol on the power button. This case ships with three LL120 RGB fans included up front for extreme cooling, and each fan includes 48 individually addressable LED's for customising the look of your PC!
The Corsair 5000T takes longer to heat up and runs several degrees cooler thanks to its more spacious design.
For lovers of water cooling, the Corsair iCUE 5000T also offers numerous possibilities to install radiators.
