Description

I think this book is wonderful and I think all children in schools should be given one as in the world right as children are suffering with there mental health and in schools there isn't the support there should be. There is lots to commend this book, and it would be a useful addition to any school collection on mental health. Live Well Every Day is divided into seven chapters, named after what I believe are the fundamental areas of health. A mental health and wellbeing handbook for children aged 10+ by celebrity doctor and Youth Ambassador for Mental Health, Dr. Registered office address: Unit 34 Vulcan House Business Centre, Vulcan Road, Leicester, Leicestershire, LE5 3EF.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio. This book provides all the scaffolding and practical techniques to help children deal with everything from peer pressure to exam stress to online trolls, and help them look toward their future with optimism and positivity. This book describes how to rationalise your irrational anxious thoughts, to be comfortable with yourself and see the positives in what make you unique because 'You are worthy, You are good enough' How making a mistake does not make you a failure, but learning from them builds resilience and strength of character as stated on page 174 'Don't be afraid to start over again.

Each subject is dealt with sensitively and inclusively, and the book provides a general overview to a lot of different topics. This book provides all the scaffolding and practical techniques, so readers can look toward their future with optimism and positivity. Not only are these pretty vital if we want to function at our best, they’re also areas in which we can make changes and that’s key.gdy chodziłam do szkoły nie trafiłam na tego typu książkę, myślę, że mogłabym wtedy uniknąć wielu trudności i problemów. This journal can be used alone, or as a companion to the Children's Non-Fiction Book of the Year 2023, A BETTER DAY. Some may think self harm to be a controversial topic for this age range, but as scary as it seems, since I personally know a couple of young people who actually do this I believe it is a subject that does need to addressed. I read a lot of self-help and informative mental health books, all aimed at adults, and decided to pick this one up as sometimes reading things aimed at children with things written in quite simple terms can be oddly validating. I read the first page and we'll it brought a tear to my eye as it hit me more so how you can see the book through a person going through the same.
