My work is heavily influenced by mid century design, architecture and fashion which can be easily seen in my use of colour palettes and choice of subject matter. He was also Features Editor of BBC Wildlife Magazine from 2008 to 2018 and was its Editorial Consultant until 2021.The engaging storybook-style descriptions and simple text shed a light on the wonders of wildlife and array of animals, perfect for children aged 6-8 to love and explore for hours on end. They will discover incredible facts and fascinating stories about their favourite animals and some they have never heard of! The intricate work is hand drawn in ink and color is applied digitally, and she is greatly influenced by classical storybook illustrators and her favorite plants and animals.

This book is beautiful, illustrations are lovely and I can’t wait to look through it with my daughter when she’s older. In 2015 Ben was awarded the Dilys Breese Medal for science communication by the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO).
