About this deal

This sounded like a good idea to me, as it might allow the great fun of eating a Creme Egg without the messiness.

It’s traditionally served by the spoonful in a glass of water (it doesn’t dissolve, you eat it off the spoon and drink the water when the sugar gets too much). Despite having all the same ingredients as its older sibling, there’s no trace of the words “Dairy Milk” on this bar.

seems to be that despite it still retaining the great creme egg taste its a little disappointing considering this is what Cadbury’s deem as their ‘most exciting innovation of the year’…. The campaign featured various vignettes of a Creme Egg being destroyed by household implements – such as a kitchen blender or hairdryer – only to mutate into an anthropomorphised Twisted bar, which shouted ‘Goo! Sugar, MILK, glucose syrup, cocoa butter, invert sugar syrup, whey powder (from MILK), cocoa mass, vegetable fats (palm, shea), emulsifier (E442), dried EGG white, flavourings, colour (paprika extract).

The taste of a Creme Egg consists of a thick Cadbury chocolate shell containing a gooey, sweet fondant filling resembling the yoke and white of a real egg. Twisting that incredible gooey egg we all adore, it's no longer an Easter treat, but an all-year round yum-fest! Spend majority of leisure time doing activities such as watching TV, playing computer games, on the internet, reading, cooking, driving, general household chores. I like the mini Cadbury Creme Eggs because they have a little bit better ratio of chocolate to filling for my tastes, but I recently got to try a Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted, which was even better. The creamy, milky taste of the chocolate, even though it is on the sweeter side, is a great contrast to the sugary filling and balances it out without dominating it.If anyone remembers it, Creme Egg Twisted was actually a bar version of Cadbury Creme Egg that was brought out a few years go, and previous to that is was Dairy Milk with Creme Egg. If it does signal the start of a move away from the Dairy Milk branding, than that will give them much more flexibility in the future. They mysteriously disappeared, to reappear as a mini version in Cadbury Heroes, and have now been given their very own sharing bag. Even though this bar is probably not going to be widely available – if at all – in the US this Easter season, I can’t resist mentioning it just because of the tradition of creme eggs around the holiday. We will make sure they are packed carefully for safe transit – Unfortunately broken or melted eggs cannot be replaced or refunded.

It’s nice that you can break the bar into a few sections as you eat, so that you don’t really have to consume the whole thing in one shot, unlike a creme egg. Our mission is to give our members insight into what they are eating to empower them to make more informed food choices. Dom – i see what you mean but that still dosent change the fact that its really nothing new…as I said if this wasnt the only innovation we could expect from Cadbury this year I wouldnt be as disappointed.at random intervals and "spitting" out some of its goo, before repeating the word again when the advert finishes. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
