if someone told me read one more chapter in his pov or stub my toe on every single corner in my life, guess wtf i’m picking. And if you add the whole mess to how their relationship made no sense because there’s not a single thing in common between these two (and that’s the reason why all their conversation were all about sex and NOTHING.

all these small moments of daisy and christian just admiring each other in silence without the other person knowing >>> their journey and love story just hit differently because it all started out so complicated in dh1, but in this book, it’s just so simple, except its actually not.

my heart does break for him, because he’s a gang-lord that word always makes me cringe a little ngl, and loving someone means putting them in danger, which makes things a lot more complicated for him. Daisy and Christian looking at each other while donating blood for her nearly dead brother in the back while her current useless boyfriend is looking at them!Because for Julian, falling in love isn’t just unwelcome – it could be deadly for everyone involved. I truly don't understand why she even bothered to give Daisy books because it's very clear her heart isn't in it. daisy left her old life behind, because she wanted to be done with all the crime and just be normal for once. That scene where she interrupted the gang meeting was the most second hand embarrassment I've gotten from a character in a LONG time. I can’t trust anything I think I see in his feelings for me — I can’t read him, even if he’s the only thing I ever want to read for the rest of my life.

okay, i never really liked the man so the relationship between him and Magnolia was not going to affect my opinion of him in the slightest but GOD WAS HE ANNOYING THIS BOOK. my love’s DaisyChris deserve a whole ESSAY for how adorable they were — or would’ve been if we had more content of them just being cute *gets a murderous glint in eyes* — ugh there were two iconic scenes in this book and I loved them!oh, because we had to sit thru COUNTLESS and ENDLESS chapters of Julian and Magnolia having sex against every surface of The Compound. Earlier I discussed how Magnolia was in the dark about Julian's job, and Julian did not do A SINGLE THING to enlighten her. I hated how he reacted to Daisy's reaction to the sex tape, but he moaned Daisy's name so I got over it. since I didn’t read mp:tlwh cause I don’t like Magnolia and BJ that much so I didn’t know that some of what happened here was the same as from that book so that’s why I’m okay with it. But when her safety is threatened once again, she finds herself back under the watchful eye of her gang-lord brother Julian and her ex-boyfriend Christian, both desperate to keep her safe.

After finishing, I was left feeling like Christian and Daisy were afterthoughts or side characters, which makes no sense in a book carrying Daisy’s name.but that’s probably because i’ve seen so many mixed reviews on it, but that just proves you have to read the book yourself and see. i think they deserve to be endgame and i actually liked daisy here, yes that blood transfusion scene was comedic and so stupid, i would rather watch greys anatomy which i have vowed to never watch.
