Darth Vader's TIE Advanced was a TIE Advanced x1 starfighter used by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader during the reign of the Galactic Empire. LEGO Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope is a subtheme of Star Wars which contained sets based on the Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope film.

It is based on the film Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope and was released as part of the 10th Anniversary of LEGO Star Wars. However, before Darth Vader's TIE Fighter can be unlocked, players will need to be able to travel to Yavin 4 in Free Play.

Since the TIE fighter was registered as Darth Vader's personal vessel, Baron Merillion Tarko was under the belief that the Dark Lord was paying an unexpected visit, and thus sought to personally welcome Vader's arrival at the landing platform with a stormtrooper escort.
