EASY Joint will always go rock hard as soon as it is in contact with the air, it does not need water to cure. Start once the paving has dried and the joints are drained, applying virtually no pressure to the tool - it is only to finish thejoint, not compress it. In terms of application, there is not so much need to use copious quantities of waterwith porcelain as the EASYJoint will not cause it to mark in the same way it can with stone or concrete. Due to the structural requirements of a driveway and that generally, the bedding mix is stronger than that of a patio or path, the use of EASY Joint is not recommended. However, users will find that a small amount of water to form it into a slurry, will make it easier for the operator to fill the joints properly.

We do not recommend EASYJoint for use on driveways due to the types of sub-base and bedding mortar needed.However EASYJoint will eventually set and the weather conditions will not have impaired its integrity in any way. We also sell power tools such as the ‘Grabo’ vacuum suction cup lifter which lifts tiles, slabs, paving, glass, concrete, drywall, plywood, furniture, timber and grabs rough, porous and even wet surfaces. In this instance the particles within the grout mix won’t settle into the joints evenly due to the presence of ice and potentially lead to longer term problems. Our instructions state that any sagging of a joint must be topped up whilst it is still wet (or has not cured).

These types of slabs have a greater risk of staining, picture framing and efflorescence from the bedding mortar used for the base or specialist joint fillers. Our tile adhesives and grouts are heat, mould and water resistant and perfect for fitting tiles in your bathroom or kitchen. Water can also help the compound flow in to the full depth of the joint cavity and aids compression of the compound. Suitable for use with outdoor porcelain tiles, Azpects Easy Joint Grout Stone Grey is a grey coloured powder-based jointing compound that is brushed into wet grout joints ready to solidify.Available in different colours, EasyJoint holds up well against weathering and is incredibly long-lasting on joints that are 3mm wide and over. We strongly recommend not shortcutting this process, particularly when working with absorbent or sensitive materials such as Sandstone, Granite and Limestone. Some concrete paving is made in moulds and has chamfered edges creating a 'V' shaped joint between two paving slabs, wider at the top than at the bottom. The person with the hose should alternate between following the sweeper to aid washing the compound into the joints and moving ahead of them so that the paving is always wet.
