All I will say is that this book will capture your full attention and have your emotions all over the place. okay so, the big plot twist here is this, Jessica (or is it Jennifer) Eason's dead wife, and Robert, Bree's dead husband, were doing the nasty on the sly for YEARS. MAJOR SPOILER INCOMING* I think the author got wind that the book was becoming really boring, so she decided to include a third act conflict.It’s a heavy book that gets lighter as it goes on, and I loved the uplifting, heartfelt vibes towards the end. he was struggling with his wife and has been some time since they were intimate and things were not good for quite some time, they were rarely intimate. Through the ups and downs of co parenting and running a business and a household all those butterfly feels came out to play as Eason stole the show. This was so beautifully written, from the very first chapter I was hooked, the very last page I had tears in my eyes and a heart full to bursting. Okay so even the parts of this book that were supposed to be the interesting parts ( the first half ) just didn’t work for me.

Add to that this could have been a melancholy sob-fest and it was anything but, definitely made for one fabulous read.As a single dad with nowhere to turn, Eason moves in with Bree despite the old tensions and the new grief they share. As they take hurting steps towards some kind of normalcy, Aly pours salt on their wounds and the howl that left Bree and Eason tears up the sky. There was nothing I wouldn’t sacrifice - hopes and dreams included - to be the man Jessica and Luna deserved.
