I selected the version with 7 small propagators (rather than the one with 3 half size seed trays) and then bought 3 half size propagators in my local garden centre, giving me loads of flexibility. all came through strong and once the seeds are a good size you can turn the heat off unless a really cold night. Some mention that the heat is just right, doesn't cook them but keeps them at an adequate, fixed temperature. Small enough if you don't have lots of room but big enough to start 7 different types of seeds at the same time.
