About this deal

This could have been a five star from me if not for the out-of-the-blue plot twist towards the end of the book.

The narrators were excellent, both capturing the essence of their characters, especially as they reached their most desperate points. It could be that the editor just wants to sound you out and check that you aren’t crazy, much like a traditional HR interview. They and some more young friends decide to go on a road trip when they come into contact with someone who believes he can cure Luke.Overall a very good quality service from this seller and I would not hesitate to recommend this seller. I enjoyed both of these characters perspectives equally and had empathy for both of them, especially Jessie as some things that Jessie endured with her insomnia was very relatable and scary for me to read.

I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and HARLEQUIN - Hanover Square Press in exchange for an honest review. I know how I feel when I have one sleepless night (luckily that rarely happens) and I’m of absolutely no good to myself or anyone else that next day. Like Bright Young Things, it has an ensemble cast of characters and a third-person omniscient narrator; but like PopCo and Thomas's subsequent books, it's packed with clever ideas, pop-culture references and sparkling dialogue.Jessie, now though, is pretty much barely functioning without sleep, suffering the loss of her mother and home, questioning her life. Purtroppo con "Il giro più pazzo del mondo" tutto si è perso in un mare di noia e sappiate che dire queste cose mi fa davvero male al cuore.
