First of all, cordless mowers are far more hassle free vs their corded counterparts, as there’s no petrol to fil, or trailing cables to worry about.

On the newer version, you can have the job done even quicker and everything will be done on a single charge. Overall, we think that this is an amazing lawnmower and allows you to clean the garden yourself, encouraging you to DIY rather than hiring gardening to do if for you. The SLM50 seemed a good idea as it utilised the batteries from HT50 and the GT50 which I’m very happy with. The 50L grass bin also has a handy indicator flap that will let you know when the bag is full and needs emptying, a handy feature that ensures you don’t have to wonder and stop to check the bin. The G Tech SLM50 was just recently launched, so there aren’t plenty of opinions about it online yet.

The Handle comes with a nice big button to release the extendable handle to any height that suits you, I particularly like this feature, as in the world of Horticulture I find many products designed on one particular person size, and one gender, and usually it’s not Women!
