About this deal

It doesnt fit through my front door which is a shame as I have to open it outside and load the kids in. The lockable front wheels, which swivel through 360°, make this buggy agile and maneuverable, even with two children. I’ve had no complaints from either child and both have fallen to sleep in it on several occasions so far, therefore I imagine it must be comfortable. The seats seemed comfortable enough for short journeys and although my twins didn’t ever sleep (as they usually do in buggies), they didn’t complain and seemed to enjoy the ride.

Although quite heavy to pick up and put it into the boot – but I should imagine that any double buggy would be. The Roadster Duo only comes in one colourway – black and beige – but this would suit girls and boys and is quite tasteful. Hoods are shocking and only come down barely enough to cover any sunlight, you'll still need an umbrella. BIG WHEELS Thanks to the large wheels and the swivel and fixed front wheels, the twin stroller is very practical both on steep terrain and in the city. In combination with the separately available Carrycot 2in1, you can transform the Roadster Duo SLX into a stroller for newborns.

I like the extra harness between the legs, it means my older daughter does not always have to be strapped in properly. The Roadster Duo SL offers optimum safety and comfort thanks to its 5-point harnesswith shoulder pads, the removable front bar and the double-acting locking brake. The instructions for this part could possibly be made a bit clearer but otherwise, it’s very easy to erect – easier than some single buggies I have used in the past.

The Roadster Duo SL offers maximum comfort for your daily life thanks to its lightnessand manoeuvrability. Hauck is a Germany company that has been making equipment for babies and children since 1921, including buggies, car seats, travel cots and toys. On both occasions I’ve let them have a push to see what they think and both have been extremely impressed. We went to look at a second hand double buggy a while back and he told the owner of it that he didn’t like it!The Roadster Duo SLcan be folded with only one hand thanks to a central unlocking device at the continuouspush handle. The backrests can be adjusted right down into a lying position independently of each other and the footrests and hoods can also be adjusted separately and individually. A clever toggle system behind the seats allows the backs to be reclined independently of each other and to exactly the angle you require, while the harness is well padded and comfy. Despite the children being side by side, Roadster Duo SLX is so slim with only 76 cm of width that it fit through any normal door or elevator.

The individual canopies have a fold away sunshade and the 5 point safety harness with shoulder pads keeps the occupants safe.

Despite two children comfortably sitting next to each other, this double pushchair is still slim enough to fit through most doors and elevators making the Roadster Duo SLX the ideal solution for families with two small children.

If a baby falls asleep in the stroller, the baby should be removed from the stroller and placed in a cradle. Some mention that it is relatively light given its size, while others say that it's very heavy to carry once folded. The Hauck Roadster Duo is easy to push on even surfaces and the front wheels (which are solid plastic, so no punctures) can be fixed or swivel. The Roadster Duo is the only double buggy in its range – a twin (side-by-side) that’s sold as suitable for twins or a toddler and a baby.
