About this deal

She likes to explore the narrative power of illustration and the relationship between images and words. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins.

This picture book is a dual language book in Albanian and English, there are other languages available too. The text invites the reader to sing the familiar action rhyme, and the joyous pictures of babies demands that everyone joins in.

This book can also teach children about their different body parts and the vocabulary words associated with our bodies. Welcome to Beginning Baby, a line of novelty board books and gifts designed to give little ones a bright start!

On every page of this board book are attractive, colourful illustrations of babies clapping their hands, rolling about on the floor and hugging their friends. We take pride in offering a wide selection of used books, from classics to hidden gems, ensuring there is something for every literary palate. The Beginning Baby animal friends exercise and sing together, and babies are encouraged to find their heads, shoulders, knees, and toes right along with them. The fun, colourful illustrations bring this much loved nursery rhyme to life, while the large sound button plays the popular melody. She joined the Child's Play team having been offered a job by publisher Michael Twinn, owner and founder of Child's Play. The series uses bright colours and patterns along with sweet characters (from an artistic llama to a musical elephant and gardening octopus) to teach simple concepts, fine motor skills, shape recognition and emotional awareness.

An adorable and energetic cast of animal characters guide babies through early learning concepts in a playful way that reinforces ideas through rhythm and repetition and engages eyes and hands with flaps, moving parts, mirrors, or tabs. Extremely disappointed that it was just a direct translation and ZERO effort was given whatsoever into making the Tagalog translation work with the tune of the original nursery rhyme, especially since they even have the tune written on the back of the book!Using a well known rhyme, children are introduced to different parts of the body through illustrations of a baby and his soft toys acting out the song, with the full text in both English and Romanian. Several small children go through their paces in the book while being accompanied by their stuffed animal friends.
