About this deal

It’s not as easy to use as the Krinner, and not as versatile, with a design that accepts only tree trunks larger than 3. However, there is no overflow tray, a feature some other stands have that we’d like to have seen here. But 2½ gallons is plenty large: A tree of roughly 6 to 8 feet in height has a trunk diameter of about 4 to 6 inches, and will usually take in 1½ gallons or less per day. To test the stability of the stands, we used twine and a force gauge to pull on the trees until they tipped over. Add that extra touch to really make someone’s Christmas special with our thoughtful personalised gifts.

Supplying to the surrounding villages including Stratton, Siddington, South Cerney, Cotswold Water Park, Ashton Keynes, Minety, Cricklade, Somerford Keynes, Lechlade, Kempsford, Fairford, Latton, Chalford, Amberley, Bussage, Nailsworth to name but a few. Keep your Christmas tree standing tall and looking wonderful throughout the festive season with our Christmas tree stands and skirts. Using a force gauge (a simple cylinder with a calibrated spring), we pulled on each tree to see how much force was required to make it tip over.White icicle lights give your walls a wintery feel whilst warm LED lights are just right to add a cosy vibe. This is a huge distinction between the Krinner and almost all other stands, which force you to get down on your belly to tighten individual bolts.

The gauge that tells you how much water is in the stand also has a very clear “Stop” indicator that shows when you’ve filled it enough. Additionally, it's a nice way to break up all the glitter and sparkles you'll have around your house by giving your tree something a little more homely to live in. At about 2 feet in diameter and roughly 10 inches tall, it takes up some real estate and smaller tree skirts won’t be able to cover it. The patented safety belt with its step-by-step ratchet mechanism provides additional safety to ensure the tree cannot fall over spontaneously. The KRINNER Green Line Comfort Grip M Christmas Tree stand is made in Germany in a sustainable and resource-saving manner out of 100% recycled raw material and thus actively contributes to the responsible use of our environment.Because it has the capacity to hold a 12-foot tree, the screws on the Cinco don’t extend far enough to grip a tree with a trunk diameter less than 3½ inches (which, in our test, was about a 6-foot-8 tree). Unlike stands that require you to wriggle the tree in and fasten it into place with metal hooks, this Krinner stand uses a foot pump to secure the tree, so it's a one-person job. For size, it should have an opening wide enough to accommodate a roughly 4- to 6-inch trunk diameter—that’s the ballpark thickness of your typical Christmas tree, which has a height of 6 or 7 feet, according to the National Christmas Tree Association.

Your tree becomes the centrepiece of any room during the festive period so it's important to make sure it's supported, and safe around your curious little ones and all your impressed guests who might want to take a closer look. The finish is whitewashed grey, so neutral enough to suit most decors, and it adds a pleasing Scandi vibe. The Krinner grips the tree trunk with five claws that you tighten by stepping on a ratcheting foot pedal, instead of turning a set of bolts into the bottom of the tree trunk, like nearly every other tree stand. With the claws cranked all the way down, this stand will hold a tree with a trunk as small as 1 inch in diameter. One of the biggest challenges of maintaining a live Christmas tree is keeping it watered—and knowing when the tree needs watering.Just place your tree in the open stand and pump the foot pedal until the claws have firm contact to the trunk.
